Caracal (Caracal caracal)

This small feline is distributed in several regions in Africa and Asia. Also known as “Desert Lynx”, is considered one of the most beautiful felines of the world. Blue eyed, light yellow-brown fur and long hair on top of the ears; it is easily differentiated from the others. Its color provide him an excellent camouflage when is hunting.

They can measure from 70 cm to 1,05 m length, up to 35 cm high and weight of 7 to 15 kg; they are territorial and normally lonely, living in average, 13 years.
