Brown Bear (Ursus arctos)
The Brown Bear is the second biggest species of bear (after the polar bear) and inhabit several regions in multiple continents. The biggest are found Kamchatka peninsula (Russia) and are present in big numbers, followed by the Alaskan brown bear and by the Eurasian brown bear. They have a brown fur and their colors may vary from a light brown, almost blond, up to the strong and dark brown depending of its genetics and geographic location. Its dense fur with hair from 10 the 12 cm in the winter and in the summer a shorter and sparse fur.
Adult bears weigh between 150 to 650 kg and have 150 to 400 cm length, from the tip of the muzzle to the end of the tail, males are usually 30% bigger than the females.
