Bison (bison-bison)

Bison is an iconic North American species and it is present in flags, coins and literature throughout USA.

Have a very thick dark brown fur in the winter and sparser in the summer, therefore keeping them warm throughout the harsh winters and also the intense summer. Can weigh from 700 to 1.100kg and be 150 to 180 cm high in their shoulders and measure from 250 to 350 cm length. Females present a size 20 to 30 % smaller.
